Visiting Las Vegas can often be a fun, relaxing, and often inexpensive getaway for couples, girls weekends, even family vacations! Vegas is the perfect place to spend a few days unwinding. While it’s often known as “Sin City” there are also plenty of wholesome and family friendly things to do too!
Kurtis and I spent 2 days in Vegas a few weeks ago and had a blast! It was great to get away just the two of us for a few days. Kurtis was going for a work convention and we decided I should tag along so we could make a belated anniversary celebration out of it. It was a great way to ring in the 5 year mark!

It’s no secret that my kids have had a rough time sleeping. Sawyer was a great sleeper as a baby but for some reason, as soon as he turned 2, he was up almost nightly. And Oliver has almost never slept through the night!
Recently, we started using a sleep coach to help them sleep through the night. While I can’t share our specific plan, I will tell you that one of her biggest tips was bathing the kids every night. At first I thought that was crazy! First of all, it takes a decent amount of time and effort to bathe the kids. Second, I had always heard that bathing them every night was bad for their skin.
Recently we had the opportunity to go to the grand opening of the newest Urban Air Adventure Park location in Westminster Colorado! We had such an incredible day!
Urban Air Adventure Park is such a great place for kids and families. We were there 3+ hours and had a blast. Kurtis and I turned on the exercise tracker on our apple watches while we were there and we both burned 1,000+ calories! Just chasing our kids around on the trampolines! Urban Air offers lots of different attractions for kids of all ages, birthday parties, and concessions.

Christmas cards are so fun and yet, so stressful! December is a crazy month with so much to do! Christmas cards is just another thing on the never ending to-do this this time of year.
But Shutterfly makes Holiday cards so easy! We chose to go with Shutterfly this year because we could get everything done in one place. I was able to design the cards, choose a custom envelope with our return address already printed on it, custom envelope inserts, and even a customized stamp!
