Summer is just around the corner. I can’t believe how fast it’s approaching. One thing I dread about pregnancy is having to wear a swimsuit with a big belly. A regular bikini still fits but I can sometimes feel uncomfortable with my bump hanging out for all to see. It depends on the day!
I love finding stylish maternity swimsuits to help me feel confident at the pool or the beach (even though I may be mistaken for a whale).
So, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite maternity swimsuits this season for you to shop! I love a classy one piece, or even a tankini in a fun pattern! There are some cute bikinis too, I could never leave them out.

There’s a lot of negative stigma about having a shower or registering for a second baby. Especially if you’re having a second baby of the same gender. And while there are a lot of things I don’t need this time around, there are a few things that I do!
I don’t need any clothes really, or a crib, toys, a changing table, bibs, a carrier, shoes, burp cloths, car seats, etc. All the stuff I got with Sawyer is less than 2 years old and perfectly reusable. But going from 1 child to 2 is no easy feat. There are definitely still some things I need, important things!
Happy Friday loves!
Did you get a chance to check out or gender reveal on instagram? We are so excited to be adding another little boy to our family. I can’t believe how outnumbered I’m about to be. I’ll try to get a full post up on our gender reveal next week.
Today I have an adorable children’s shoe company to share with you, Piper Finn.
“Just do it while your kids nap.”
Why is that everyone’s answer to everything?
Working at home Mom? Just work while they nap.
Need a nap yourself? Just nap while they nap.
The house is a mess? Just clean while they nap.
Have 34 loads of laundry to do? Just do it while they nap.
Need some you time? Just do it while they nap.
Need to catch up on your shows? Just watch them while they nap.

I know I’ve been absent this week. Thank you all so much for your positivity and support in response to our pregnancy announcement. We have been blown away! I plan on doing a full post on finding out I was pregnant and my first trimester in a few days. But for now, I wanted to update you on our Master Bedroom!
I know I mentioned a few months ago that we were updating some things in our living room and master bedroom. We didn’t go for a full renovation because we didn’t want to spend too much money, and we know we didn’t have a ton of time to devote to it either. But we wanted to update a few things to make them more modern. Our style has changed a lot since we first moved in 3 years ago! Plus it was our first place of our own, and we didn’t really have a clue- design wise. Our couch was bright red if that tells you anything.
The first thing I wanted for updating our bedroom was new bedding. Ours was always kind of messy and never fully matched. We’re grown ups and I wanted a real bedding set! I did a full post on our bedding from Beddy’s, be sure to read it here. Beddy’s is zipper bedding and it’s amazing, it makes making the bed so much easier! It just zips right up! Plus it’s really warm and cozy, perfect for Colorado winters.
I can’t believe it’s almost over.
I know a lot of people think of 2016 as a pretty crappy year. In terms of pop culture and politics, yeah, it wasn’t that great. But in my personal life? Although it had it’s hardships, It was a pretty good year and I’m so thankful.
We ended up traveling a lot this year! We got 2 separate vacations which is unheard of for us! We spent a week in Balboa Island, my favorite place in the world.
