Need a nap yourself? Just nap while they nap.

The house is a mess? Just clean while they nap.

    Master Bedroom Update

Disclaimer: I received these products in exchange for review. All opinions are my own. Visit my disclaimer page for more information.

    Hello all!

I know I’ve been absent this week. Thank you all so much for your positivity and support in response to our pregnancy announcement. We have been blown away! I plan on doing a full post on finding out I was pregnant and my first trimester in a few days. But for now, I wanted to update you on our Master Bedroom!

I know I mentioned a few months ago that we were updating some things in our living room and master bedroom. We didn’t go for a full renovation because we didn’t want to spend too much money, and we know we didn’t have a ton of time to devote to it either. But we wanted to update a few things to make them more modern. Our style has changed a lot since we first moved in 3 years ago! Plus it was our first place of our own, and we didn’t really have a clue- design wise. Our couch was bright red if that tells you anything.

The first thing I wanted for updating our bedroom was new bedding. Ours was always kind of messy and never fully matched. We’re grown ups and I wanted a real bedding set! I did a full post on our bedding from Beddy’s, be sure to read it here. Beddy’s is zipper bedding and it’s amazing, it makes making the bed so much easier! It just zips right up! Plus it’s really warm and cozy, perfect for Colorado winters.

    2016 Year in Review

    I can’t believe it’s almost over.

I know a lot of people think of 2016 as a pretty crappy year. In terms of pop culture and politics, yeah, it wasn’t that great. But in my personal life? Although it had it’s hardships, It was a pretty good year and I’m so thankful.

We ended up traveling a lot this year! We got 2 separate vacations which is unheard of for us! We spent a week in Balboa Island, my favorite place in the world.

How Moms Can Stay Healthy (When Everyone Else is Sick)

    It’s that time of year.

    Cold and Flu season.

As a Mom, there’s no time to get sick. We all got the stomach flu in our house last week, and it was awful. I didn’t want to catch it, but it’s not like I can’t take care of my baby when he’s sick. I have to risk the germs and be there for him. When my husband gets sick, I do the same. Even when the dog gets sick! You have to push your fears aside and take care of your family. Moms don’t have time to get sick!

While you sometimes can’t help but catch a bug, there are things you can do to help boost your immune system. If you’re immune system is strong, you will hopefully get sick less often!

Jazz Loves Disney and So Do We!

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored on behalf of Verve Records and One2One Network. All opinions are my own. Read more about this on my disclaimer page.

Disney has been such a huge part of my life, for my whole life!

I grew up loving the movies and going to the parks often. Some of my favorite childhood memories are at Disneyland! I was obsessed with The Lion King (I have a Simba tattoo on my ankle) and princesses. Trips to the park as child are my favorite memories. The Disney blood runs deep in our family, and I’ve been passing it on to Sawyer as soon as he was old enough to watch the movies!

As an adult, I continued my love of Disney, going on a trip to Disney World with my sorority sisters, and then getting engaged at Disneyland not long after!
