The Elephant Cookies: Kneader’s Fights Childhood Cancer

Disclaimer: Thank you to Kneaders for choosing to partner with me to help promote this important issue.

Did you know September is childhood cancer month? I didn’t.

In fact, there’s a lot I don’t know about cancer because I have been fortunate enough to never have it effect me directly. My great-grandfather died of leukemia long before I was born and that’s the only tie I have to the disease.

While I am extremely lucky, others are not. Children get cancer every day. Children die from cancer everyday. I can only imagine the immense horror of such a diagnosis to either of my precious babies. The fear, the anguish, the unknown. I can only imagine.

    The Best Maternity Swimsuits!

Summer is just around the corner. I can’t believe how fast it’s approaching. One thing I dread about pregnancy is having to wear a swimsuit with a big belly. A regular bikini still fits but I can sometimes feel uncomfortable with my bump hanging out for all to see. It depends on the day!

I love finding stylish maternity swimsuits to help me feel confident at the pool or the beach (even though I may be mistaken for a whale).

So, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite maternity swimsuits this season for you to shop! I love a classy one piece, or even a tankini in a fun pattern! There are some cute bikinis too, I could never leave them out.

    Registering for Baby #2

This post is sponsored by Pampers. All opinions are my own. Visit my disclaimer page for more information.

There’s a lot of negative stigma about having a shower or registering for a second baby. Especially if you’re having a second baby of the same gender. And while there are a lot of things I don’t need this time around, there are a few things that I do!

I don’t need any clothes really, or a crib, toys, a changing table, bibs, a carrier, shoes, burp cloths, car seats, etc. All the stuff I got with Sawyer is less than 2 years old and perfectly reusable. But going from 1 child to 2 is no easy feat. There are definitely still some things I need, important things!

    Master Bedroom Update

Disclaimer: I received these products in exchange for review. All opinions are my own. Visit my disclaimer page for more information.

    Hello all!

I know I’ve been absent this week. Thank you all so much for your positivity and support in response to our pregnancy announcement. We have been blown away! I plan on doing a full post on finding out I was pregnant and my first trimester in a few days. But for now, I wanted to update you on our Master Bedroom!

I know I mentioned a few months ago that we were updating some things in our living room and master bedroom. We didn’t go for a full renovation because we didn’t want to spend too much money, and we know we didn’t have a ton of time to devote to it either. But we wanted to update a few things to make them more modern. Our style has changed a lot since we first moved in 3 years ago! Plus it was our first place of our own, and we didn’t really have a clue- design wise. Our couch was bright red if that tells you anything.

The first thing I wanted for updating our bedroom was new bedding. Ours was always kind of messy and never fully matched. We’re grown ups and I wanted a real bedding set! I did a full post on our bedding from Beddy’s, be sure to read it here. Beddy’s is zipper bedding and it’s amazing, it makes making the bed so much easier! It just zips right up! Plus it’s really warm and cozy, perfect for Colorado winters.
