I’m hoping baby #2 is not a much of a “learning experience” as baby #1. Being a new mom is a huge adjustment that I don’t think anyone can really prepare for beforehand. No matter how much research you do, you’re still learning on the job.
But that’s in the past for me. I’ve been there. I’ve done the sleepless nights before. I’ve tried all the recommended tips, tricks, and products, and know which ones actually work for me. I’m hoping I’m better prepared this time, simply due to the fact that I’ve done this before.

Self care is so important. It’s about more than just vanity. It’s about taking time to pamper yourself, take care of yourself, and feel good about yourself.
I know as a Mom, it’s hard to make yourself a priority and take time for yourself. I know it’s hard for me. But I’m also the best Mom when I’m feeling my best. When I’m confident and happy. It makes me feel a lot better if I do simple hair and make up, exercise, paint my nails, and even whiten my teeth!

It’s one of my favorite times of year! The start of every new season brings a new FabFitFun box, and the Spring one did not disappoint.
Seriously, I think this is my favorite box so far. It had some amazing stuff! And it’s making me so excited for Spring to be here. Warmer weather, picnics, park days, and more! I love this time of year. The Spring box came equipped with so many great things, I can’t rave enough about it. I loved everything.
If you’re already a member and still waiting for your box (and like surprises), stop reading! If you’re wondering what’s in the box/if it’s worth the cost, keep going, I’m going to share everything it comes with!

There’s a lot of negative stigma about having a shower or registering for a second baby. Especially if you’re having a second baby of the same gender. And while there are a lot of things I don’t need this time around, there are a few things that I do!
I don’t need any clothes really, or a crib, toys, a changing table, bibs, a carrier, shoes, burp cloths, car seats, etc. All the stuff I got with Sawyer is less than 2 years old and perfectly reusable. But going from 1 child to 2 is no easy feat. There are definitely still some things I need, important things!
Happy Friday! What do you have planned this weekend? We’re hoping to relax and catch up on some much needed sleep. Sawyer kept me up until 4:00am this morning before I finally got to sleep, who knows why. But, I am feeling it today!
#Momlife, am I right?
The other night I had the opportunity to check out a new spa in Lone Tree, CO with the Colorado Blogger Babes and had an amazing time! I wanted to share some photos with everyone.

Looking classy while pregnant can sometimes be a struggle. All I want to do is lay around in my sweatpants. But alas, I am an adult with responsibilities who must sometimes venture out into the real world. Which can require real clothes.
And don’t get me wrong, I love a cute outfit as much as the next girl. But the struggle to put yourself together can definitely be real during pregnancy!
Figure 8 Maternity makes it so easy with so many cute and classy choices!
